RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – On Thursday, Aug. 27, Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District was notified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office of a civilian fatality associated with the Hawk Fire, according to an agency Facebook post.
A person who was transferred for medical care following injuries sustained during the incident has died.
Out of respect for the family, no further details regarding the person or the circumstances will be released.
Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District extends its condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
