Earlier in the week Micah Parsons complained about Jordan Love’s ranking in the NFL Top 100 list.

The Green Bay Packers’ defensive star may have just been silenced after his quarterback’s recent performance in joint practice against the Arizona Cardinals.

Parsons may not be ready for Week One of the season against the Minnesota Vikings, but his teammates will be eyeing a strong start after an underwhelming 2025 term.

A final run-out in preseason against the Cardinals awaits the Packers on Friday evening, which comes after their latest joint practice session in Wisconsin.

Love was in action during the joint practice, with the QB who Parsons rates so highly, enduring a difficult afternoon against a Cardinals team that many consider the worst in the league.

Micah Parsons watches Jordan Love picked off by Arizona Cardinals after Top 100 speech

Parsons defended Love’s ranking in the NFL Top 100 list after the quarterback was named as the 72 best player in the league.

After making a passionate speech about how good his QB really was, the footage to emerge on Thursday from joint practice did not help his argument.

The Cardinals posted a 16-second clip on X showing nothing but interceptions from their defence, with Love in at QB for two of them.

It must be remembered that the Cardinals are being ranked as one of the worst – if not the worst – teams in the entire league this season.

A recent ESPN ranking has the Cardinals placed as the 29 best team in the league.

Despite this, the quarterback, who Parsons believes is a top five QB, could not stop throwing interceptions in joint practice.

Parsons has never been a player to keep his opinions to himself, but he is making a habit of seeing his outspoken nature backfire on him.

A big season awaits Love, with the Packers having failed to make any real impact on the NFC since Aaron Rodgers’ departure.
