A 3,000-square-foot apartment in Thane that makes neutrals fun again

Creamy hues of ecru and taupe, soft pistachio tones, buttery yellows, and playful interventions of dusty blues — this apartment in Thane is a veritable masterclass in monotones, spanning 3,000 square feet. Jasem Pirani and Huzefa Rangwala of MuseLAB worked with a clear brief: their clients, a couple with two sons, wanted a light, neutral palette that felt calm and cohesive without, however, feeling prosaic.
