Xiaomi launches Redmi Turbo 5 for premium segment users in India

Xiaomi on Tuesday (June 16, 2026) launched Redmi Turbo 5 in India catering to premium segment buyers. It will be sold in two memory variants with MediaTek processor.
Redmi Turbo 5 has a 6.59 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision.
Redmi Turbo 5 ships with a 7,540 mAh battery and supports 100W HyperCharge, with the charger included in the box. It also supports 27W reverse charging,
Redmi Turbo 5 runs on MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset up to 12 GB LPDDR5X Ultra memory and 256 GB UFS 4.1 storage. It operates on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box. It will get four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Redmi Turbo 5 sports a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS and EIS support, along with an 8 MP ultrawide lens. It has a 20 MP selfie camera.
It is IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K-rated protection against dust, water and high-pressure water exposure. The phone has dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
Redmi Turbo 5 starts at ₹37,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB variant and ₹40,999 for 12 GB/256 GB unit with LPDDR5X Ultra memory. It will go on sale starting June 19, across Mi, Amazon and retail across India.
